The Wedding last week (the one I got the dress for) was last Saturday, the first day of record-breaking heatwave.

Screw what kind of bra I was going to wear ---> how was I going to stay cool??? The wedding was held on the pavilion of a beautiful country inn, which means there wasn't going to be air conditioning!!So wonderful. it

Can't stand those kinds of weddings. The best wedding I went to was last year when our friends were married in the Sloten windmill. The reception was a great party on a meadow in the city forest (Amsterdamse Bos) and we all changed into jeans, crocs, sneakers and otherwise comfortable clothing to attend.

Fun will never be had in uncomfortable clothing.

I'm sorry to hear the wedding was too hot to enjoy. But I really had to chuckle about the bra. I never ended up wearing the expensive bra I bought for my daughter's wedding either. Got a new version of the cheapie I always wear from Wallymart and it worked out fine. And yeah, too late to take it back. I wonder how many expensive, unworn bras are sitting in peoples' closets all over the world. ;P

I'm convinced that's what the backs of closets are for: the stupid, foolish things we buy then never end up wearing.

What really gripes me is that I don't have a back to my tiny obsolete-sized closet for useless bra nonsense.
