Staring and sitting
One reason I was reluctant to spend an entire week in a damp, moldy spider-webby cottage by a lake in the middle of nowhere was the intense boredom that would ensue (for me)
Richard assured me that it wouldn't be boring. Oh no. We would go on trips to town (25 minutes away) and do other stuff.

The last hurrah
School starts again on Wednesday. I'll have three different levels to prep for: seniors, juniors and sophomores. Sheesh. Talk about work load!!
This has been the best damned summer in my life. If everything goes well, I'll get another one just like it next year. :) -
There's an animal living in my backyard!
Good: I love to garden. One of the biggest draws to buying this house in Philadelphia was the big backyard just waiting for me to do something with it.
Bad: Unfortunately I didn're know that the big trees back there were black walnuts which produce a poison that suffocates all but a few plants near their roots. :/
