The last hurrah

Aug 30, 2010 20:00

School starts again on Wednesday. I'll have three different levels to prep for: seniors, juniors and sophomores. Sheesh. Talk about work load!!

This has been the best damned summer in my life. If everything goes well, I'll get another one just like it next year.  :)

You know, I said to myself 'hey, what happened to Madeleine', lets see how she's doing now' and there your are, still and again on LJ.

I'm just kind of here. Not really here. Everyone from Wundee has moved on; I play scrabble with a few LJers that use Facebook.

If you're interested, Michiel went crazy and moved to Florida. I divorced him, he didn't argue. It was over fast with no loose ends.

Now I live in Philadelphia. Life is very very good for me, aside from an awful job that I seem to be stuck with until the economy gets better.

You? you still living in Canada?

Sorry to hear about the divorce, but good for you for moving on with life.

Still residing in Canada: I became a Canadian citizen just recently (look for my CBC feature on-line via Teh Googels, I dare you) and still married to the same person. Ten years already and shattering records.

I've only talked to mr Corre recently: on Skype no less (after years of corresponding via e-mail). Kind of silly, if you think of it, this Internets is pretty amazing, eh? Feel like a trailblazer sometimes...

I think I replied earlier on this but I've never seen it making thru (maybe I missed the CAPTCHA thingee) and so here be a slightly same version:

No offense meant, but I'm not really interested in what happened to Michiel: I think I got the gist of it during my LJ years and after.

Anyway, I'm still in Canada and am still married to the same woman now for 10 years (yay!). I became a Canadian citizen two/three months ago, which means that I'm now fully qualified to speak and act "Canadianish".

The only person I'm still in contact with is mr. Corre: we have been corresponding (via plain mail and e-mail) for 15 years or so (long, eh?).

Have a majestic 2011 and don't hesitate to flame me so once in a while.
