Do you think the Bush administration should be investigated for using torture?

Let the system run its course. Let the justice department investigate war crimes. Perhaps get the senate to set up an investigation.

In the last big inquiry, (9/11) they let Bush/Cheney "testify" without being under oath. That was absurd. If they want someone to testify this time, put them under oath. It's violating the oath that they got Clinton on, not the consensual activities.

That's what's got me worried. It isn't a sure thing that these will be defined as war crimes or pursued in any way. I can't let it go like some people say. I'm mad as hell.

Prosecuted perhaps. We know they used it, after all, that's not in doubt.

though I think a lot of things should happen which just will not ever happen

I thought carefully about which words to use. There are still some people in this country who argue that it wasn't torture or that it wasn't technically torture due to the creative ways that Bush Admin defined it.

I understand those who say "let it go and move on" but goddamn it, no. Every one of those bitches should be taken by the scruff of the neck and investigated, publicly humiliated then sent to prison without chance of getting a consulting job or book-writing gig.

But as you said "a lot of things should happen which just will not ever happen."
