So, on Halloween the Schermerhorn Symphony Center is showing Lon Chaney's Phantom of the Opera. An organist will be accompanying. And you can dress up in costumes.

It's a heartbreaking reality to face, the knowledge that beyond a certain point your innocence is lost.

Where's that little girl that used to sit in the woods for hours and sing to herself? How did she grow up into this?

I've settled comfortably into the house. I'm happy to be here. While there were con's to living with my grandmother, I did enjoy the space and privacy that came with the house. Tool was an amazing experience. I can't really put into words how great that show was. Really, I can't. Despite the fact Maynard hid at the back of the stage the entire two hours they played, he still tore it up.

Just ... wow.

Also, The Flaming Lips have topped a good many others at the top of my Favorite Live Performances list.
