My first contact with Radiohead was a song on a mix cd my awesome cousin made for me... when I was like... 11, maybe 12? Listening to it now brings back the nostalgic rock feeling I get when I hear it. It doesn't even sound like them that much- the vocals for sure...

this winter is taking a toll on me. every morning i walk to class the birds are tweeting and chirping their heads off -- but it's still so damn cold!! i don't know why the signs of spring are coming-- trees budding, snow melting, kids in shorts.... I only know that my leg skin is dry and still itchy and i have to wear pants for another month.

it's not even four thirty and the sun is setting into a thick bank of clouds. today it snowed in a dense flurry and I danced and jumped for joy and made my first snow ball of the year. the snow has stayed on the ground in a frosting... it looks like powdered sugar.

Last night was my first concert in the orchestra... we played some standard literature including the William Tell Overture, 1812, which were both ecstatic explosions of joy... the only unfortunate things is that I was situated right in front of the horns so my head was almost literally blown away.
