So, on top of being accepted in District II for band and chorus, finally feeling like
I'm getting somewhere with my all-state piece, making it past first round in mock trial, and finding someone
to save my ass...

I got into the C-I-fucking-A.
First choice college, here I come.

I got into college!
Only my third choice, but still college.

It's not as nerve-wracking now that I've dealt with it once.

I need a hug.

Today, at 10:40 a.m., I will be dismissed from school to go
with my mother to New York, where I will spend the night in a hotel, wake up
and visit the Culinary Institute of America.
I very well may have made a decision by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow where I want to spend the next 4 years of my life.

This should be interesting.
