As for the Cure... even Smith didn't find the absolute answer... all he did was give her some of his blood.... the exact thing he'd been testing all along with negative results.
I was hoping for more of a storyline about the Main Zombie guy going after Smith... because Smith stole his girlfriend. (Hokey... but would at least have explained why the sudden hunter mentality change.)
**For the record... I can understand your point about her not being able to get out of the city... but it is possible, that she was hiding in another section of the city and didn't find Smith... until she did. Not a great answer... but at least a plausability.
Well, I accept that there was a "General Zombie." In any anarchistic society, someone is going to rise to the top, for whatever reason. That didn't bother me.
But he kind of did. He didn't give his blood; he gave the blood of the zombie he had tied up in the basement, didn't he? Compound six worked...
Any more explanation of the zombies would have helped.

I'm surprised I remembered any of it. I was really blasted.
I was unclear as to whose arm he drew the blood from. I thought he drew the blood from either his own arm or the girls arm... I didn't think it was the zombie girls arm... but you are most likely correct about that.
As for how she got in... there were boats... even a row boat could have gotten her there and out. (which is something I didn't think about until just now.)
I think in order for them to have answered all the questions... would have made the movie longer, and I don't think it would have survived half as well if it were longer. (Unless it had more meat to the story that is.)
ps along the lines of the above comments about the General zombie - at one point Will Smith records that the zombies have obviously lost the last of their "humanity" or something, kind of saying they are totally mindless. Which is OBVIOUSLY not true - as they run in packs, know pain, understand danger of sunlight, and track him, remembering his location the next day.
