It's funny when someone dismisses LJ as purely a self centered format of journaling, which is true to an extent, but all the benefits of "keeping in touch" are useless to him, so he believes that therefor, everyone who uses it can only use it for reason #1 ( Read more... )

yeah, between Jake and Kendall I got fairly nicely introduced to them, even went to the concert (sort of) this year. Had to leave early, but it's no big deal, and the rest of the concerts i'll be seeing more than make up for it *laughs*

People who think live journal is /only/ self-centered (cause I'm not saying it's not, just that there are other things about it too) suck and have no friends. Yargh!

livejournal is my communication tool with a lot of people. Some people on my list don't answer emails or have phones so it's all I got.

...I suppose real life would work too but BAH.

Exactly, it's a solid as hell backup communication when all else just can't quite work out at the time
