1. Dad is completely off of ventilator and breathing on his own, had absolutely no problems. This is HUGE as they were "so sure" he wouldn't be able to breathe on his own w/o help. He was sitting up and trying to talk. This was yesterday, all this just a few hrs after surgery. Woot, woot! They're supposed to make him walk tonight. I'm going ( Read more... )

That's great news about your father. I hope he continues to improve.

Max is a cute name for a boy! I thought of naming our little one Max, if we have a boy. Not sure if DH agreed though.

Yay for the raise! I think LJ seriously affects my work productivity, but I try to keep it minimal :-)

Hey, I was going to write last night and don't know why I didn't. anyway I wanted to tell you that I did get your email and am just being slow about replying. For some reason I come here more often than I check email lately. :o
