What really comes through for me in this chapter: for as much external stuff is going on, their relationship is starting to acquire that lived-in feel. They've had to subjugate the relationship to career and press, but you've got that still-disbelieving-but-solid tone happening. Gorgeous.

The fact of the matter is, even if this weren't a Sherlock fic, I'd still want to read it. It's a plausible and fascinating 'verse, all on its own.

Oh, the internet comments are identical to what actually goes on. Some were hard to read just because people really do say things like that. I can never get over the abuse of anonymity on the comments section. BUT again, a BEAUTIFUL chapter that captures the good and the bad of the situation.
