I read that as stubble bum, the first time. It made it much more amusing!

You did everything great, including the viewers' comments. The one about "showing it into everyone's face" and the reply about it being mearly "existing" particularly touched me. Just last month, we had a little gay pride march here in Prague and although I have always considered my country to be tolerant, I was shocked by how many exactly the same negative reactions suddenly appeared. And I so much wanted to shout "it's not about showing anything into your faces, it's about us existing and being like everybody else"!
I hope Sherlock and John will do great together and show them all!

That's my reaction whenever a new chapter appears on my flist. :D
OMG if both John and Sherlock were to get nominated... and maybe, even win?! A first in Oscar history? Or at least, like someone else said, John, so they can have a matched set. I love their relationship - John instinctively letting Sherlock's brain masticate after his trip -, and the meta, and John's jealousy, and Sherlock's reaction to Ron Howard's offer of the Tesla miniseries... GAH I wish these were all real films! :D

Frederic March and Wallace Beery tied for Best Actor in 1932, and both took home statues. March had one more vote than Beery, but the Academy decided that one vote wasn't enough of a difference to call a winner. They changed the rules after that, so that a tie required two actors to receive the exact same number of votes.
In 1969, Barbra Streisand and Katharine Hepburn received the exact same number of votes for Best Actress, and both took home statues.
