Though I do agree that the way they treated the guy was awful, why didn't he just go to a different McDonald's? It's not like the chain only has locations in very limited areas. Especially if he knew this type of thing could lead to panic attacks...

Also...to be clear. I am NOT defending McDonald's, and I haven't eaten there in years. I just get confused when people seemingly place all the blame of a situation on one party, when (generally speaking) that is not the case. I don't understand how McDonald's is till in business to be honest. Thier food sucks and the service is even worse, but I kinda assumed that was common knowledge.

After several weeks of building a FB group to over 3 thousand members and assisting in making a tremendous amount of pressure on McD's our "hero" asked me to take down the page because a settlement was near. I was elated of course. I figured there would be this huge campaign that would take years but apparently we had forced them to the table in mere months. Yay! The good Captain was to receive an undisclosed amount of cash and then was going to take a trip around the country thanking those who had helped him. Well, not only did he not come out to see me, he has defriended me. I appear to be too uncultured or something, now that he is rich and has a book out. Watch out for people like this. They will call you "brother" when you are serving with them but they will not call you at all once you have helped them achieve their goals ( ... )
