I entered into an agreement with a cute little red-head girl named gwinna, and her end of the bargain was to make me an icon. Not that I really expected her to make me one, but she did, and also remembered that I am a member of the fraternal order of Free and Accepted Masons. What a sweetie. Please feel free to snag it. I am sure she would be flattered. I am still trying to recover from this weekend. Us Riverdale boys went down to Brunswick this weekend, and conferred the Masters Degree, and then we did the dramatization in full form. I was the Senior Deacon for the first part ( my first time doing the masters in that station), and was a ruffian for the dramatization. Long drive home to cap off a long weekend. I am beat!

No kidding. 16 is the most desolate stretch of road in GA. Helps if you have someone to keep you awake for the trip. We managed to find exit 49 on 95 that has a little "alternative" entertainment for the drive home.

Seriously thanks. I am very proud of what I belong to, and what I do. We just had a blast down on a remote island down near Brunswich conferring the Master Degree. Lots of fun. Makes me feel better to help my fellow man.....an not just a brother.

Really? Not that it matters, but any particular reason why? How serious are you wanting to become one? What county do you live in? Know any other masons?

Cobb county and no that's the problem, i spoke to one in Douglasville and he gave me the App but i didnt know 2 masons who could sign off on me, and the one i did know has since passed away.

A petition I could give you, and finding another brother to sign for you would not be a problem. The only snag I see is that my lodge is in Clayton County, and unfortunately does not touch Cobb, and that was at one time a stipulation. I will check into that for you. Where do you live in Cobb county. There are many good lodges there, but do you have one in particular you would like to belong to? Riverdale lodge where I belong, is by far one of the stronges in metro Atlanta, but you might not want to drive there twice a month for meeting, and all of the other stuff we do throughout the month. Something for you to consider. It is just 10 minutest south of the airport.
