Nerd Swap

I joined a online group on Ravelry.com that xtrainingwheels started called Nerd Swaps. The rules are you sign up for the swap and you are assigned a partner. You make a handmade item and send it to your partner with a edible treats, a ball of yarn, and something other misc. item. The theme of this swap was 'fairy tales'

Oh, that's COOL! If I had anything resembling time (I know I'd have the talent if I had the time to hone the talent...) I'd take part in something like this sometime.

It really doesn't take too much time, once you've got the basics down. A small project can take one or two days to make. That hat probably took me three, maybe four days tops. You should totally take up knitting and join the swap group!

LOL It's not so much taking up knitting that's the problem, it's taking up knitting and doing something with it. I've had a project on needles for at least a year and a half now, and it's just a simple rectangle... *sheepish grin*
