You mean I have to write on a Saturday?

Thus far I have been publishing my 500 words a day to my little blog here. I had not originally intended for that to be a dimension of my penitence. I had hoped that simply getting into the habit of writing would help me to actually write some fiction again. I think it's super great that you're writing. I told you that earlier today and it's still true. You keep rockin' on superstar.

Consider this your open invitation to a dinner party in Greenfield, Mass. Succulent culinary creations and witty repartee mixed with the requisite two-year-old bons mots is waiting for you whenever you can make it here.

You could ship them south. I have already said that I enjoy reading your writing. If you are expressing yourself I am not sure it is self absorbtion and most people know that a blog is not a "finished" product. I used to love when you posted some of your fiction. Once upon a time in my life I would wake up in the middle of the night with an idea for a story and I would have to get up and write it down or I couldn't go back to sleep. Often when I read it the next morning I just wadded it up and threw it away, but I did keep a couple for a while. I actually think there might be two on my old computer but I don't think I have any paper copies anymore. Just writing them down was good for me, it was like letting "it out" of my brain. I wish I had the confidence to send it on to anyone to read, but I have only done that once. Keep on keeping on.

I find that dinner parties are fading in popularity. You would do much for society in bringing them back into existence.
Dunk & I spent one winter having 4 different dinner parties. 4 couples total who would fit around our dinner table. It was loads of fun and everyone enjoyed our cooking.
I think you have inspired me to try that again... That kind of intimate party is, for me, the best kind.
