What a fun day. We met B at the Metro and then headed into the historic Washington. We were a block from the Spy Museum when we got off at B's stop. So, we had breakfast at the Spy Cafe...great....but opted out of the museum which would cost the two of us $34... way too expensive. We headed down F Street enjoying the architecture and the people. This brings back memories of being on the big lake freighter Edward B. Holidays can be very sad.
When you are facing a day that holds special memories and certain expectations, this time of year can be more difficult than happy.
