I used to use proactive.. and the first time it was awesome..then i tried it again not long ago and it wasnt quite working so my mom bought me "clearasil acne control intensive treatment" and it works well.

I know you said not clearasil cause you've tried it but I find that that one works

im pretty sure its that one.

I see tons of commercials for that stuff, but I have been skeptical to try it since it's an OTC thing.

I might give this a go though.

how about flip flopping between a few different products? a on monday, b on tuesday, c on wednesday, a on thursday.. etc. maybe your skin won't get used to it so much?
sorry. probably didn't help.

Good idea, but switching so much could cause major skin irritation...

I've had acne since I was 7 (uuugh, I'm 20 in 3 weeks!) I'd tried everything too and had been to the docs about it. They gave me the monthly pill to control my hormones and spots but the first one they gave me, made me sick.

Now I have a skin regime that works, clean and clear cleanser, simple toner / witch hazel toner and garnier pure moisturiser. I exfoliate my skin 2 or 3 times a week too. Drinking water generally helps but I always forget to drink as much as I should. Changing your regime all the time probably wouldn't work, wait until you've used up what you have and try other things if you like.

Good luck with your skin.

No way! I turn 20 on sept 17th. When is your b-day?

P.S: Where could you get witch hazel toner and what is it?

Witch hazel is natural stuff, its actually a make. You can get it in pharmacies everywhere here (UK, I'm not sure where you are :))

i use st.ives cleanser and scrub, its made from natural ingrediants so i dont think it'd harm your skin. it makes your skin feel fresh and works pretty good, its like 4 bucks each in the drug store.

Does it do anything for acne/blemishes?

I know they make an awesome apricot body scrub that I have used in the past, so I know some of their stuff is great.
