Countries and how stable are they, really?

So of the Samuel Adams Holiday Variety Pack, after the Cranberry Lambic (which they don't sell by itself, a terrible shame), my next favorite is the Old Fezziwig Ale.  Smooth, not bitter, with a rich spicy taste that is subtle, not overpowering.  Quite tasty.

Turkey Gumbo at Michelle's!  Come eat!

Saw the Swedish vampire movie "Let the Right One In" last night at Alamo South -- it was beautiful and a haunting entry into the rolls of vampire mythology.

See it, if you can; if nothing else, it will make it to DVD sometime.

Want to be dancing right now, but not enough to actually GO DO IT.

Will want to be dancing tomorrow too.  But will I?

Enh! Enh!

Darn this season.  Hard to start things.  Just want to sit and eat ice cream and grow blubber for the coming freeze.

Oh thank god, it's November now. The halloween run is over!

Now to clean up.

One funny thing, though; yesterday before leaving the house, sparkylibrarian  painted a big frowny classic jack-o-lantern face on our door with fluorescent die (Rit whitener thickened with ... stuff) and we screwed ( Read more... )
