I am that tree, vast and vacant
stretching limbs to every direction.
She begs for fuel
among the indifferent sky
that gives her life.

That one dying,
that one innocently growing
that one green with envy.
Side by side,

each one of us rooted in nature.

I'm standing in line at the doctors office behind a young boy and his mother, and I'm growing more intrigued in this boys behavior. Hes running around the indoor plants, hugging them and getting himself dizzy, laughing and talking to himself.
