A good amount of Americans are gullible, stubborn, afraid, and generally braindead. A lot of the smart ones make a living by raping the idiots of all they have. A moral, intelligent person? Harder to come by.

Politics is a choice of least-worst. Though, there's a very large gap this time. Our government has been in an orgy with corporate and religious interests since it was possible for them to be. So, to appeal to enough of the electorate, Obama does have to pander. That's true, but I find he'll owe much less to them when it matters, when he's president.

All politicians are dirty, but McCain is covered in shit, and Obama may just be a bit dusty.

Politics has always been a choice of least worst. Like I mentioned, no one would be going this crazy over the election if one of the choices wasn't McCain/Palin. If we had a more reasonable republican candidate, I probably wouldn't care nearly as much who won.
