RE: Bipolar and being 'normal'siberiannightApril 9 2010, 02:28:11 UTC
I've probably told you that my brother was diagnosed as bipolar back when we were kids. He's mostly normal now, as regards his moods (his social skills are stilted, though, but I think that's unrelated), so I think there's a good deal of hope that things may stabilize for you, even if some vigilance will be required. I suppose that it could have been an incorrect diagnosis, but Tom's got too much of the 'bipolar personality' (more than you do certainly) for me to believe that.
Good to hear that you're doing better all around. We should talk soon. Still want to come down this summer?
hey, I've seen your posts in the feminist comm and I think you're really neat (and we've got similar issues). Is it alright if I friend you?
I'm a woman with mental illness, and an actress, and I'm thinking of creating a one-woman show about my experience with being crazy (I'm trying to reclaim that word).
Hey, I'm glad to see that your diagnosis is getting refined and hope that when you return to St John's it'll make hunkering back down to study a lot easier.
