High School: My first (and still only) laptop, we didn't have high-speed internet at the time but I could still play RollerCoaster Tycoon 3

Monday after getting a B.A.: an iPhone!  I wake up in the morning, and while I use the bathroom I'm checking USA Today.  Woah.

Being at home is as good as I knew it would be.

I feel really bad for my mom.  She and my brother are driving up tonight for the weekend and they didn't leave until after 7, so I knew they would hit the storm front that passed through here.  When I got back from dinner and the mall, I checked to see where the storms were and texted my brother to ask if they had gotten through them yet.  He said ( Read more... )

I discovered Serenity in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart on Sunday and bought it.  It was actually a bit odd because I have been wanting to see it again lately (probably since I got Firefly for Christmas).  I have been watching the movie and the extras for 2 days.  But I wonder:

I've only been to the gym twice since I've been back from break, but I've also been trying to eat slightly healthier, and tonight when I stepped on the scale I was, for the first time since I can't remember, under 170 pounds!  I even lost two pounds since Monday!  Tuesday I signed up for the Cardio Kickboxing class, which will be twice a week.  ( Read more... )

Friday night a parking stump decided to try and eat my bumper, which happens to be attached to the rest of the car, so the front of my car is being held in place with three sets of bungee cords.  My room is beyond a mess, with dishes and clothes everywhere.  For the first time in my own recollection, I have had to ask for an extension, on my senior ( Read more... )

I just got teary watching the shuttle launch on the NASA channel.  I wouldn't have been watching it if my mom and Keenan weren't actually there watching the launch in person as part of a 4-day in-depth NASA experience, thanks to my mom's friendship with the chief of staff at Kennedy Space Center ( Read more... )
