Blurry Student Loans Company! There I was all ready to call them tomorrow to explain why I can't pay, since I couldn't get through the other day... when they send me a demand for last months amount stating I have ignored their warning letter and they are charging me. I think for him, yes! He'd had enough really, retirement didn't suit him, oddly.

the SLC sucketh. I once got a letter from them saying "blah blah failed to make payments.." and had to call them and say "okay well in that case which student loans company HAVE I been paying?" "oh yes. so you have. well okay then..."

If I were that rubbish at my job, I would get fired. Instead the government continue to grant them exclusive licence to exploit the nations young and vulnerable. Nice one!
