Do you have a mission statement or even a simple list of exactly what you do? I know you do wedding planning, but if I know a little more about what your philosophy is I can help more!

Well, I have a whole business plan, but that's probably not what you are looking for.

What is entailed in my business is:
vendor visits
consultations
day-of coordination (running the actual wedding day)
full coordination (helping plan the entire event for like a year beforehand)
and I may sell handmade tiaras or something later down the road because they cost like a zillion dollars in the stores but like $5 to make :)

Mostly I would say Event Consultant is my title but I don't want to limit myself to weddings (and be able to do company parties/events)

Hope this helps!! Thanks so much for your help!

Most Spaptastic Name Ever! anonymous March 2 2004, 20:28:06 UTC
I've been around at the naming of several small businesses...and every owner always makes it WAY TOO BIG A DEAL. Especially in consulting, using your own name w/ "events" or "weddings" after it is great. Down the road you can simply file a DBA and change the name. Just don't buy/print too many business cards initially. Right now the entire business is all YOU. That'll likely stay that way for some time, success or not.
So...drum roll please...I vote for "Maegan Both Events." Maegan Both would be in italics of course.
