I've asked for answers before. This question is unanswerable, however.

Why, if God is so kind and just, do so many suffer while he watches?Back in... oh, hell. 1990? 1991? I remember watching the news for the first time and it really sunk in. They were reporting on the Gulf War and missiles and whatnot. I wondered what happened to all the people ( Read more... )

god is consciousness--not some separate, omniscient being. you can see god in the ocean, and rocks, and flowers, and other humans. the things we think are happening (birth, death, war, happiness, pain) are nothing more than a dream, or a movie...the light of consciousness shining on moving pictures.

YOU are god. YOU are those suffering humans, full of faith. think about that.

it's a strange thing to say, but just believe it, and you will know that it has always been true. trust me.

look at the dark ages
crusades
bubonic plague
tyranny

they loved god more than their descendants
yet saw some horrendous things in their day

it may not be a question of god
&what he may/not be up to
but simply
human nature

god cant be blamed for free thinking
he may have given that gift to us
but what we make of it
is not in his hands

different beliefs
bring about war

destroying the planet
brings about temperamental weather

its not gods fault
its simply humanity
&all forms it takes
