[#7] Paperlegends 2011
Here's the final 3 images I created for springinstep's Merlin Big Bang 2011 fic for paperlegends.
I had a lot of fun doing these. I managed to challenge myself with each one and I'm very pleased with the outcome :D Big thank you to wolfofmagdeburg for kicking me up the arse when I needed it and to springinstep who had to put up with me being terrible at communication and throwing sketches with silly file names at her.
I've had a lot of fun doing this challenge, I can't believe it's over! Can't forget to thank the_muppet for organizing it all either, you've done a fantastic job ♥

1: Merlin and Arthur come under attack.
“Get behind me!” Arthur grabbed Merlin’s sleeve with one hand, drawing out his sword with the other, and tried to pull him from harm’s way. But they were surrounded. There was no safe place. And bandits didn’t play fair.
2: Percival at work
He was sharpening a large batch of swords, taking his time in slowly swiping the whetstone down the blades, throwing his complete concentration into it when he heard a voice call his name.
3: Gwen in the dungeons
"...and so they were able to enter the castle, with Gwaine and Morgana leading, and Elyan covering them from behind, Gwen and Merlin remaining in the middle. It was an old castle and the servant’s corridors were narrow, but completely empty of guards."
