As for Evan himself, they had only paid off the mortgage on their home after thirty years of hard work. His retirement party had been at a cheap but good Chinese restaurant at Jalan Besar. They went up to Genting or Bintan for holidays. They thought Johnson duck was the best thing since bak chor mee.

Someone (he's 4 yrs old) bought me a Barbie doll for Christmas and so i've been scouring the internet cos i want to buy clothes and furniture for her!!!! (does that make me a loser?)

u can always tell what people think of u from the presents they give u...like when my students bought me the Gossip Girl dvd boxset as a farewell present. LOL
