Yay thanks for posting! I miss you guys lots, too. We'll be in SLO this summer, I'm thinkin' I might need a field trip to da City. Anyhoo, I really, really appreciate this post, I think about you guys all the time and am glad you are doing well even if a little homesick. Happens to all of us. At least you're pursuing what you want. And hey, if you ever want to know what you're doing wrong, just ask me, I'll berate you with insults!

Maybe one or two of your fellow students would be down with coaching you so you can get some more feedback. Someone who's interested in directing? People are never free with helpful advice when you just ask them out of the blue, you sort of have to force them into a situation where they can see you a lot and analyze you and then tell you how you could improve. I know how frustrating it can be to not get any feedback, hello Midsummer? But if you don't push the issue you'll just end up more frustrated. Just me point of view.

I must echo Jayme's sentiments - thank you for your posts about life in NY. I am glad the big jump is working out for you, even if it is hard. That's usually the price of big adventure. :)
