Things that go bump in the night

I suspect it is indeed normal for some people :)

I think it might be best to go with the whole not trying anything while you are possibly dreaming, as you might end up sleepwalking and leaping out of a window, or falling downstairs or something... aagh.

I don't really know enough about sleep to say much more I'm afraid.

You are normal, if I am classified as normal. thepixy October 12 2006, 09:07:12 UTC
You have been working with lots of energies recently so it's not so weird for stuff like this to happen, especially given the inherent weirdness of your brain anyway :)
After my reiki 2 I was surrounded by sparkly spirit thingies in my bedroom (btw that is the norm for me, random ghosts and stuff are always there, it doesn't bother me because they just vaguely sparkle from time to time which is not invasive). Anyway, after my reiki 2, they started to take form. It was like shadow solidifying, I could see it out of the corner of my eye. I know I was awake because after ignoring the ones in the bedroom it started happening at work. By my desk. How rude. Also, I was muchos scared.
I guess what I am saying is, sometimes when channels are opened, weird stuff happens. Sometimes it is just tiresome (like yours). Sometimes, it is brown pants time (like mine). Such is life.
