In Lost, we find that the dreaded "numbers" are a code to be entered into a computer. We also find out that there are others on the island who now have Jin, Mike and Sawyer. Have you ever said a word so many times that it loses all meaning and just becomes a sound eminating from your mouth? I wonder what exactly is the crossover point, like on the 180th time of saying the word "mongoose" it loses it's meaning but at 179 it still has meaning, or gradually from around time 120 it goes from Mongoose, rodent-like creature ( Read more... )
