There are brief flashes of razzle-dazzle, the occasional cloud of confetti, and even a few doves flitting into the sky, and the crowd applauds every now and then as she unleashes trick after trick

[Keiichi is in the back of the crowd and always willing to steal the limelight help a friend. He sticks his hand up in the air.]

[Coquelicot ALMOST sags with relief, but that wouldn't quite work here. Instead, she gives Keiichi a grateful smile and waves him up.]

Okay, we have our volunteer! Now, if the gentleman in the back would come up to the front, we can get started~!

[Keiichi struts through the crowd towards Coquelicot and grins, waiting for her to tell him what to do.]

Let's have a round of applause for Keiichi! This is the main event that you've all been waiting for...!

[Coquelicot gestures off to the side. There's a long cardboard box looks like it's just long enough for Keiichi to lie down inside, save for his head.]

[... there is also a hand saw stuck in the ground next to it.]

[Oh my god who is this adorable little kid and why does s/he sound so familiar- but in any case, Coquelicot smiles, takes Sakutaro's hand, and pulls him up front.]

Everyone, give a round of applause for our brave volunteer~! What's your name?

Okay, Sakutaro! [Well okay she's not going to saw the kid in half, so...] You're not afraid of heights, are you?

[Chiyo steps up, being the brave little girl she is. Well, as brave as she can be right now.]

Oh, I'd like to volunteer!

[A measure of Coquelicot's confidence seems to come back when Chiyo volunteers.] Right! If you could just step on up, and...

[Coquelicot suddenly tosses her baton up into the air- what comes back down is a coiled-up rope.]

... tie me up, then we can get started!

[Chiyo seems at first troubled about the 'tying up' bit, but then she remembers that there are some tricks that work with it. Plus, if this will help Coquelicot, then Chiyo will do it!

She nods.] Okay!

[She tries to tie Coquelicot up... and has a bit of trouble at first, but thank goodness she grew in the last two years or she'd have some real trouble here!] There we go, I think that'll do it!

Thanks- that's perfect! [Coquelicot gives Chiyo a grateful smile as she's tied up before turning back to the audience.] And now, ladies and gentlemen, for my next trick, I'm going to escape from these bonds! Un, deux...

[Coquelicot suddenly twists her body just so, and the rope slides off of her, coiling loosely around her wrists.]

... trois! [And one second later, the rope's been replaced by string- a cat's cradle in her hands, to be more specific.] Voila!

[Oh thank GOD, an actual non-drone person!]
