So, leaving UAB was good, but job-hunting isn't very fun. I don't think I would have problems if I a) didn't somehow like an abundance of freetime and b) wasn't a procrastinator. My former amusement with OddTodd has become all too real ( Read more... )

oh gah! geez! bleh! and blar! the luncheon sounded infinitely uninteresting. i extend my apologies as i return to my organization of information class... is it metadata or data? guess the right answer and i'll give a peanut. come on!

I went to hopefully meet a nice person who would give me a job, but no. At least I attended with an interesting person - my ex-boss!

and good luck on the job hunt!! i know it's tough. i was told to call CBS back on wed. and i did, and i got a voicemail and never got a call back. then i called back today, and it was the same deal. so i just called again and FINALLY got in touch w/the guy, but then he was like "call me back early next week." sigh. i was so hoping for some news...

Thanks for the good wishes! Yeah - I have another interview on Mon. with a law firm to work in their library. If only something would happen soon! Why in the world does it take so long?!

i don't know. b/c the world is screwed up and nice people tend to get the shaft? lol. but seriously, i really hope it (or something) works out for you!! that sounds like a great job! and for a law firm--that's awesome!!! probably good pay i'll bet. :) good luck, and let me know what you hear!
