Oh, so so adorableeeeeeeeeeee. I loved Morgana and Gwen, doing their "I know something you don't know" routine :D Arthur, you so chivalrous, coming to Merlin's rescue like that ♥

That was a difficult twenty minutes. Fortunately, the sounds of Donny Osmond (followed by some Chris de Burgh) were enough to restrain Arthur - he reads Cosmo remember, so he knows proposals and Chris de Burgh don't go together.

And Arthur being so grumpy, yet so aware of Merlin's unhappy face!

Merlin's unhappy face haunts Arthur ;) Let's just hope it's a long time before Merlin realises the Power of the Unhappy Face. Although Arthur's look of painful internal struggle tends to have a similar effect on Merlin so really, they're pretty well matched!

Thank you! :D :D I seem to have a love of writing Arthur emotionally constipated, he's just so adorable like that (although of course he will unwind a bit with Merlin around to tease him). I also love using 'nary' in everyday conversation, it's such a great word. I also like 'lest' lately, for some reason.

God yes, I remember some awful customers from BHS! In fact the guy in this was partly based on a real customer who was immensely patronising, no matter how conciliatory I tried to be (I still grind my teeth when I think of him). I just wish I'd had an Arthur to come rescue me :D :D
