Here is the massively overdue third (and probably final) part of what’s turned into the Route to Advancement series.
I think you probably need to have read parts 1 and 2 for this last part to make sense. They are The Route To Advancement :

And yes, I think the citizens of Camelot are not very used to seeing Obedient Merlin - god knows what Uther would have thought, the reason I left him out was that I actually couldn't decide how he'd react (although he already thinks Merlin's got some terrible mental affliction I suppose).
Anyway thank you very much for reading and commenting :)

I laughed so hard, I had tears streaming out of my eyes and at the same time it was ... so endearing - is the only word that I can think of even though I think there might be others.
Wonderful scene with Percy in Arthur's chambers and Merlin "helping" Percy with the jousting.
WOuld have liked to maybe have Percy realize why exactly Arthur puts up with Merlin's antics but it works also very well as friendship fic and I still love it!
Thank you.
and you know if you ever decide to write more in this verse, I'd love you very much!

How on earth did you find the sheer amount of awesome it took to make this?!? I actually had to put it away while my mother was in the room because she started looking at me very strangely the second time I actually broke out in giggles.
It's a wonderful last part, but I can't help but hope it won't actually be the last part. Arthur and Merlin haven't even gotten together yet! (and Percy hasn't yet witnessed it!)
I do feel the need to point out that this isn't your first fic with more than one scene though - the first Percy story had two scenes *nods*
Win!

But anyway, I'm really pleased you enjoyed it so much, even if you did get a few strange looks :) I would never say definitely no more Percy, but I think i'd have to think up a good idea first. I'd love to have Merlin and Arthur finally get together (although god knows how many ways Percy would manage to misinterpret and misunderstand that), so yes, you never know! Thanks for taking the time to read and comment :)
