This is amazing and fantastic. Lady Catherine looking as the Grim Reaper was pricelss as was the fact that you kept the "Are the shades of Pemberley to be thus polluted line. Merlin was sweet, the boys appropriately boyish while haing fun in the stables.

Thank you for sharing and for translating one of my favourite novel scenes into a Merlin fic.

I'm chuffed you liked the Grim Reaper line! I was writing it and thinking of what Lady Catherine would look like, just looming out of the shadows and scaring Merlin and Arthur half to death - and it seemed apt!

Also - yes, I am very fond of the Shades of Pemberley line in P&P and wanted to get it in. I think my favourite part of writing this was sneaking lines in from the book :)

Thanks so much for your comment!

Aww, that was so cute and funny, And I love how they sort of kept dancing around them spending the night together and how Arthur could take Merlin for a tumble any time he'd want, because that's totally how it would happen.

Oh definitely :) I don't think either of them are all that averse to the idea... Although Arthur might have some fun teasing Merlin about it for a while first :D

This was brilliant! Lady Catherine was fab, and Merlin and Arthur, and everything! I'd love to see more... Maybe with different characters? Loved it, very funny!

(PS. I was kinda expecting Lady de Bourgh to have a band of ninjas as per P&P and Zombies, which is silly considering I've never read P&P and Zombies. And Ninjas won't be any use against Merlin.)

Anyway, loved it! ^__^

The ninjas would have been ace :) I have read P&P and Zombies and now I have a wonderful image of Lady C unleashing the ninjas and Merlin taking them out with one wave of his hand.

I hadn't originally thought of writing more, but I certainly wouldn't rule it out - this was a lot of fun to do!

Thanks for your comment! :)

LMAO! That was AWESOME and adorable and hilarious and made of all kinds of win :D.

YOU MUST DO A SEQUEL!! (Well, okay you don't have to do anything you don't want, but I'd sure love one *grins sweetly* ;D)

This was great! Thanks for sharing ;)

Wow - thank you very much :D :D I'm a bit surprised how much people have enjoyed this one, who knew Lady Catherine had so many fans??

I may well do a sequel - although I have about 3 fics ongoing at the moment. But i'll never say never - Lady C was too much fun to write.

Thanks for your lovely comment! Glad you enjoyed it so much :)

one of the funniest fics ive read in a while.
i love how merlin just has to defend arthur, and the innuendo! by god. i could wax poetic and go on for days.

Awww - thank you!!! That you found it so amusing is one of the best comments I could get :) Although I hope you reassured your mother?

Of course Merlin would leap in to defend Arthur :D Little did Lady C know she just had to push the right buttons and Merlin wouldn't be able to hold himself back! As for the innuendo... I am terrible at writing ACTUAL smut, so innuendo is my friend!!!

Thanks for leaving such a lovely comment, it's much appreciated!
