Oh this was so awesome! You have Lady Catherine down pat and I love your Arthur and Merlin dialouge. Merlin's defense of Arthur was amazing as well. I could practically head his voice in my head as I read it. One of my favourite comments from Arthur was of Uther erecting a statue of Merlin for telling off Lady C. He totally would! :P Thanks for another wonderful story!
Cheers!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! :D I'm really flattered you thought Arthur and Merlin came across so well. I have to admit that the whole second bit grew from Merlin's impassioned (and unwise) defence of Arthur. And yes, Uther would be very tempted to put up that statue - once he's stopped being shocked that Arthur's useless manservant (who is lacking a brain) did what he was too scared to!

“Oh!” said Merlin, trying to calm his wildly thumping heart, “The feast! Of course, yes, I will be there. To get you ready, I mean. For the feast. I like feasts.” He stopped talking.
..and definitely laughed. That was priceless! Thanks!

I may well continue this, as people seem to be so interested in more - which I wasn't expecting! I'm sure Lady Catherine would take her popularity as her due though :D :D

I kept expecting a Mr. Collins to pop up! Maybe he could be in the sequel...?
