Just saw Penelope. And wow- what a good film! Finally, someone told a fairytale the right way.

No, seriously. For anyone who appreciates actually thinking rather than blindly swallowing a happy ending- definitely a movie for you. Not too sweet, not too cynical... really, just right. I was pretty impressed.

What I know so far:
My mom is indeed grilling out (provided it doesn't rain too much) on the 4th. So, free dinner for all. (Dean, she will gladly make you a veggie burger or something...?)
