Just read through these first five chapters and enjoyed them very much! Scorpius and Rose strike me as very real, and I love your grown up Ron and Hermione. It was great to see some real depth to Draco in this chapter, too.

Looking forward to the next chapter whenever you manage it!

You've actually made me admire Draco. Not in the way of the whiney, self-serving Death Eater brat, but as a man and a father who genuinely cares for his son...despite being burdened by who he is and was. This is quite an accomplishment. ;o)

And of course, I continue to love your take on Scorpius and Rose. They feel very canonical.

Hummm, again Draco & Ron's first reactions seem similar, but Draco seems a little more self aware. but I find it interesting that Draco did not look uncomfortable when Scorpius mentioned the war, but both Ron and Hermione did when Rose mentioned it. It would seem that Draco would have more reason to be uncomfortable. Could it be that he has spent more time coming to terms with his actions? The last line is interesting and shows another similarity between Ron and Draco. They are both concerned about Rose being "burdened" by close association with a Malfoy. I think Ron is afraid she is in physical danger, while Draco is concerned about the long lasting effects.

Just how did Grazia ever convince Draco to marry her?

Ah, I was hoping over the weekend that you'd update Golden Horn soon, but since I love this story just as much as that one...YAY! UPDATE!!

Wonderful chapter as usual. I rather imagine this is how Romeo and Juliet would have played out, if those two had stayed alive long enough for their families to really get involved in their relationship. Not as 'romantic', I suppose (I never really got R&J) but I'm glad Rose and Scorpius are taking the longer path of getting to know each other and forcing their parents to grow up and deal with it.

Great, great chapter, and I'll be looking forward to a nice Christmas present in the form of an update. ;p I hope you had a nice holiday and thanks for posting such a great chapter!
