heyo, last day of being 23. it was all in all a good year. the beginning was kind of awful, but it got much better as soon as school started up again. Tomorrow my family and Sean are taking me to this awesome tapas restaurant called amada. I'm pretty excited to order almost everything on the menu. day one went well, it was really quite mellow for me even though everyone else had to answer phones forever. I just made fondant decorations which was fun.

i start work tomorrow. i really hope i don't suck.

i bought a ukelele and i'm learning how to play it. i have figured out how to play the first part of the vampire song off the juno soundtrack. no one else was impressed by this but me.

two weeks ago while we were leaving philadelphia to go to hawaii we were in the airport going through security at about 6am. guess who was in line with us... chaka khan. how random is that?

ok, so this is embarrassing but one of the things i've been most excited about in hawaii is that it looks exactly like lost.

seriously, this island is gorgeous. except for where they have built hotels. and where they've basically screwed all the native hawaiians who live in essentially reservations. but they hide some of this from the tourists.

i love to see the lakers lose.
