so we got the president of upenn as our graduation speaker. this years class gets the potential fucking president of the US!? I AM SO JEALOUS OF EVERYONE WHO GETS TO HAVE BARACk OBAMA AS THEIR WESLEYAN SPEAkER!

so today i graduated culinary school. I was one of two people to receive high honors. I also won the awards for management and for scholastic merit for a baker. They also announced my gpa to the entire graduation audience, which made me uncomfortable, but whatever. I guess now people think I am smart and probably a few people think I'm obnoxious ( Read more... )

the problem with the "people you may know" application on facebook is that most of the people are kids who I do know and have purposefully not made my facebook friends.

It should be called "people you might know but probably don't like, otherwise you would have already friended them."

ok, nigella lawson just claimed that making as sauce of blueberries+maple syrup is a good way to get kids to eat fruit. AND is great because you don't add any sugar.

funny, and I was under the impression that maple syrup IS sugar.

Also, that's like saying "by feeding your kids jelly, it's a great way for them to get their serving of fruit!"

every day I just want an excuse to make cupcakes and fancy decorated cakes... but i so rarely have a reason, plus, sean and I are doing w.w. and therefore can't really eat cupcakes.. or say have 2 dozen cupcakes lying around the house.
