I can see where you're coming from, I guess, but I don't understand why this would completely change your perception of Rugrats forever. Rugrats and Bukowski are completely different shows, even though they're created by the same person. Like you said about Walt Disney, many creators do have dark pasts. Another example would be how Ken Akamatsu, the creator of Love Hina and Mahou Sensei Negima, used to draw Card Captor Sakura gangbang doujinshi.

I suppose it may be shocking at first to find out this kind of information, but you shouldn't let it get to you so much.

You've written some great essays, though. Keep it up. :D
