Ryan and Elaine have both been very busy this morning in the kitchen and around the house. They've been cooking, washing up, rearranging furniture, asking for folding chairs and small tables from Bar, and generally getting set up for a party.

One was a dvd of a 1978 Thanksgiving Day football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins, one was a recording of a Macy's Thanksgiving Parade from 1952 and the other was a dvd of the 1939 classic, Wizard of Oz.

Malcolm's never been to this part of the bar before, so he wasn't sure he got the right address. He's cradling a bottle of 1997 Antinori Chianti in his arm and wearing a hopeful look on his face.
"I hope I'm not too early?"

"Malcolm Crowe, right?" Two people he hadn't met before were expected to arrive and Ryan's pretty sure this isn't Helen. He holds out his hand. "I'm Ryan Chappelle."

He hands over the wine. "I thought people might enjoy this."
Malcolm grins. "Though if I know Elaine, she probably had everything perfect and ready days ago."
