Essentially because I had to go to a funeral.

Now funerals aren't really on anyone's top 10 list of things to do, we all know that...but when it's a funeral for someone who right now should be looking forward to Christmas, and then turning 9 the week after that? Definitely unfair.

So sorry Kate - such a tragic thing to happen at any stage let alone so close to Chrissy.

Has this little girl been sick?

She had been sick for about 18 months...with such a rare form of cancer she was the only child in Australia to ever have had it - and only the 8th child in the world. So basically, her odds were never going to be good because nobody really knew how to treat it properly.
