I quit my food service job with two and a half weeks left of school because I was offered a job in Richard Amasino's (Biochem department) lab doing research! I have to work through next Wednesday at the Chafe (only two more shifts) and then I start in the lab next Thursday. I was in the 90th percentile.
Yay, an A! (something I never actually celebrated in high school)

My physics exam only went okay last night. There were 20 multiple choice questions...it sounds easy, but actually isn't. I guessed on two of them so I probably did worse than a 90%. With the curve, hopefully I'll be okay. I heard other people talking after the exam and they were saying that it was pretty hard for them. I'll know by Thursday ( Read more... )

exams are such a huge downer. you just know your week is going to suck, even before it starts. especially if one is worth 50% of your grade! so i apologize in advance if i am crabby this week and next week. why is spring break so far away?

I got to hang out with an old friend tonight who I hadn't seen since we left for college and it was the most wonderful time. I really, truly missed him.
