Today I went to see my Opthamologist. I now have to go all the way to Welwyn Garden City by Uber, because the Hertford one has closed. He basically did exactly the same tests as the other 3 (I get a different specialist every time) and told me what I already know. And so I push forward provisionally with 7 weeks of daily radiotherapy starting in April. Provisional because I don't really know if I want to go to London daily for 7 weeks to undrego treatment that'll make me  even more fatigued than I already am. It seems rather gruelling TBH. Si, the awful hacking cough I had last year has returned with a vengance. I was awake most of the night, drenched in sweat, ribs aching, stomach churning, cough, cough, cough, cough. So, I had a chat with my consultant this morning. The Proton Team have said no. However, she has offered me radiotherapy either in Cambridge or London. It will be a gruelling 5 days a week for 7 weeks, starting in mid April. At best it may shrink the tumour a bit, or slow the growth, it won't get rid of it.
