no one actually knew it until this morning but today ("orca day") all the classes between 11 and 2 were cancelled. i was sort of cheated though, seeing as how my last class ends at 11. but i saw them bringing in trucks, big beautiful trucks carrying giant inflatable things for big kids like me to play on. for some reason i was unable to convince,

4. 7th grade new kid orientation! you were wearing a red shirt and a bandana.
but THEN, of course. i remember feeling like a stupid looser new kid, and i passed you in the hall one day. you said hello and i asked if i could sit with you at lunch, and we did. it was just the perfect timing, because i was really depressed about not having any friends there, and hating that i had to move away from bellingham. and i remember really wanting to be your friend. i hated blaine less after that day :)
