greetings all old lj buddies. it has been a while. who's still on here? i'm i wasting my time again?
life is good over here, getting a little slow. but i still manage to get up in the morning well enough. i think it might be time to do some updating around these parts. field work, if you will.

work today was actually rather swell. yes, swell indeed. five hours of busy recovery duty, but i got a radio. one of those walkie talki things with the ear piece, all mine. there was a girl on the team who kept calling me captian - shewasannoyingwhatever - but it was a nice thought. hm. captain. like the boat :D

what a horrible day (i'm going to ramble a bit).
it's 9.45 and i just got home. in the past four days or so i've had about 13 hourse of sleep (seven of them last night). it was all for good reasons, i'm not complaining. but none the less - i'm tired. i went to the college this morning around 9.30 so i could study for my stupid history test. my ( Read more... ) -

i had one of those life revelations that everyone has been talking about last night. i can't even describe it. and how do you know that it isn't just some stoned mum bo-jumbo? you wake up in the morning and the idea in your mind speaks to you just as much, if not more than it was the night before. logan and i had a long conversation on the sidewalk ( Read more... ) -

downtown has a distinct smell early in the morning. the smells coming from the bagelry, bikram, avenue bread. it all combines into a very unique sort of taste in the air. avelinoes has their coffee brewing, and i can see all of the busy little hippies going about their early morning thing that they do. i love being up early, getting up is always ( Read more... ) -

no one actually knew it until this morning but today ("orca day") all the classes between 11 and 2 were cancelled. i was sort of cheated though, seeing as how my last class ends at 11. but i saw them bringing in trucks, big beautiful trucks carrying giant inflatable things for big kids like me to play on. for some reason i was unable to convince, ( Read more... )
