I can't believe I'm saying this in a comment on Laws of Attraction, but: awww. That was really sweet. I'm glad Sharon had her breakthrough and I hope she can come to terms with it eventually. And hooray for Brenda finally saying...sort of...almost the right thing!

i really really love it when they talk and even more so when they have a genuine conversation. and i loved Brenda putting aside her 'dumb blond' act and making an effort to understand what's going on with her Captain. that was actually sweet! and a nice foreplay:))

marvellous chapter, as always, thank you! please, update soon!

I was thinking I could really use a new chapter of a well-loved fic today, and you delivered.

This was so sweet and such a nice, revealing follow-up to the heat of the prior chapter. It is nice when they converse and connect on an emotional level.

You always out-do yourself with each chapter, and this is no different.

Thanks for sharing - and continuing to write on this amazing story!

“I hope that don’t mean we can’t hate each other at work anymore,” Brenda interjected quickly.

“God no,” Sharon shook her head furiously. “I love it.”

I love this exchange... this bit, and the bit just before.

“People are who they are...they seldom change.”

Amen.

The brunette’s features relaxed a bit and she gave Brenda a look that she had not yet seen on her Captain’s face, a look of respect, of acceptance and admiration.

I like this... that Brenda was able to see this on Sharon's face. I was glad it was on Sharon's face to be seen.

Sharon looked coy, Brenda thought, yet bemused at the same time and the blonde felt a tingle in her chest at having elicited those feelings. She felt a smile tug at the corner of her lips as she scooted closer even and, with a challengingly raised eyebrow, straddled Sharon’s lap. I would like to straddle Sharon myself. *G ( ... )
