I'm not sure what it is, but the name "Fluffy" isn't unheard of. Of course, I would prefer giving any pet a more classical name, whether or not it was small or actually fluffy.

I've only ever had one pet; I called him Crookshanks. But Bill is a perfectly good name for a pet.
